Over the weekend -- The Aggies beat Alabama -- oh and, my parents & my grandma came into town. They got in late Friday night, so Saturday, we got to visit. Early Saturday morning, JT & I headed to Abilene to do our monthly grocery shopping, but we got back home before lunch. Then my mom, grandma, the kids and I hopped in the car and headed to Snyder for a little retail therapy on the square. While we were shopping, JT and my dad installed a doggie door in our back porch -- and watched the Aggie football game. I was so excited to come home finish watching the game and see them win.
It is so great not to have to leave the porch door open all the time. This will seriously cut down on the amount of dirt that blows in. The dogs act like they have been using a doggy door for years. In and out they ran.
Saturday night we had dinner together and then the guys watched more football and the girls visited and cleaned up. My mom always makes my house smell just a little better. She also helped me hang several pictures that that still hadnt hung around my house.
Sunday, we had breakfast and just visited around the house, checked out the Sunday paper, and a few other morning things. Then in the afternoon, The girls went to Vickie's and the Wildflower for their Christmas Open House. Im getting excited about Christmas. I got a few Christmas presents and a few other ideas.
After we got back, it was time for them to get back on the road. It is always sad for me to see them go but today I knew that it would only be two weeks before I get to see them again (Lord willing).
We had a great time and I am thankful for everything that we were able to accomplish in such as short time.
Thanks Mom, Dad & Grami!

I really do love him!

Happy Halloween!
For Halloween this year, we didnt do much, but we did Trick-or-Treat. Lincoln was Reveille the Aggie dog. He was so cute. We practiced saying "trick-or-treat" and "woof-woof", but of course when we got in front of everyone he wouldnt say a thing. Oh well, maybe next year.
First, we went to Aunt Francis & Uncle Gary's, then we went to our friends house, next we did the Trunk-or-Treat at the Baptist church in Roscoe, and finally we went to Memaw's Nursing Home for some candy and to show off his costume. Then we came home. That was plenty. We were hot & tired.
He seemed to have a great time for his first time trick-or-treating!
Looking forward to next year!
